Excepter - Debt Dept.

Excepter
Debt Dept.
2008
Paw Tracks
[Neo-Psychedelia, Noise Rock, Experimental Rock]

this album is one of the more original and interesting albums i've heard in the past few months. they kind of remind me of the dirty projectors in some weird, experimental way. i don't really know why.

also, they are on Animal Collective's Paw Tracks label... bet you're sold on this album now, aren't you?

Os Mutantes - Os Mutantes

Os Mutantes
Os Mutantes
1968
Lilith
[tropicalia, brazilian pop, psychedelic rock]

i'm trying out a different style for putting up albums on here. so you can get more information and less of the babble.

but anyway, this is a classic. if you haven't heard these guys by now, i don't know what the fuck you're doing with your life. download this immediately.

Count Bass D - Dwight Spitz

this is one of those hip-hop albums that will never receive the credit that it deserves. usually, the only way anybody even hears Count Bass D's name is if they happen to listen to MF Doom's 'MM.. FOOD' album. i strongly suggest that you give him a listen. if you don't enjoy this album, then i quit.

Whitehouse - Bird Seed

it's been a while, hasn't it? my apologies, my life has been... ridiculous. i've honestly only had a few minutes in front of a computer in the last month, and i was drunk during those few minutes too, so you can understand.

but now i (avoid, you know, the guy that posts the majority of stuff on here) return to you with another noise album. this one is by Whitehouse. i'm not even going to build it up. either you're going to download it because the album cover looks interesting, or you're not because i mentioned that it was noise.

see you next month!

combatwoundedveteran - This Is Not An Erect, All Red Neon Body

the only grindcore band you'll ever need to listen to. and you can quote me on that. i'm just shocked that this band is still not all that popular. i mean, they only have a little over 11,000 listers on last.fm. there is something incredibly wrong with that. anywho, i'm done rambling, download this and listen to it, it'll probably take less time to hear the whole album then it did to read all of this.

Modest Mouse - Miscellaneous, Early, Rare, and Bootleg

Okay, if you're a die hard Modest Mouse fan, you cannot live without this. I happened upon this album not too long ago and it has brought me great joy ever since. It's really nice, because it has many song that have the Sad Sappy Sucker feel to them, yet this is an unofficial album. Hey, even if you haven't got into Modest Mouse yet and all you've heard is Float On or Ocean Breathes Salty, this would be the perfect time to hear Modest Mouse at its best. There are also some interesting alternate versions, hard to find Ugly Casanova songs, and just a little bit of everything you could hope for. Props to schonert for uploading this shit on Demonoid.

Del the Funky Homosapien - Funk Man (The Stimulus Package)

dude, it's Del. i shouldn't have to say anything about him.
also, i'll be upping his Deltron 3030 album later this week. it is, by far, my favorite rap album EVER.
